Pulse Survey 3 – Thank you!

We’d like to thank the 1749 Salvos who completed the first Pulse Survey for 2018.

In addition to the multiple choice responses, hundreds of comments and short-sentence answers were submitted, providing invaluable insight into your experience of the national transformation journey so far.

The survey closed 5 days ago, on May 2. We are working through the survey responses and look forward to sharing the results with you in future National Transformation Updates, however here are a few early highlights:

  • There were more than 55 contributors from each state
  • 82% said they agree or strongly agree that they feel personally connected to the National Vision
  • 84% said they agree or strongly agree that they are motivated to contribute to the success of the new Salvation Army Australia Territory

Still Others, Mission Workshops – Share your ideas

As part of the Still Others – Gathering as one Army event later this year, workshops will be held to equip all Salvos to better understand and live out our Mission.

These workshops will be held on Friday 30th November, and the aim is to provide a high quality, skills-based event for all Salvos. The workshops are for those who are engaged in the frontline delivery of The Salvation Army’s mission and anyone who wants to learn more about mission.

It is important that the event content is informed by individuals engaged in mission. Please find below a link to a survey that seeks the input of Salvos in various sectors and missional expressions. The survey will take 5 – 10 minutes to complete and responses are anonymous.

A Chat with Lyn – Watch the replay

Chat with Lyn is an interactive web stream where Lieut Colonel Lyn Edge answers questions from around the country. In case you missed last week’s edition, you can watch it at any time by heading to: https://livestream.com/salvoslive/chatwithlyn/videos/174167504. The conversation starts after 10.30 minutes, so you can use your mouse to skip ahead to that point. Unfortunately there is an echo, so it you find this to be distracting, please email the Australia One inbox and request the transcript.

The next Chat with Lyn is scheduled for 2.00pm – 3.00pm AEST on Monday 21 May 2018.
