Vision Booster  – Campaign – 13 days to go!

The national Vision Booster Campaign will commence on Sunday February 11 2018.

Resources available

Last week we advised that a range of resources to help corps engage with the campaign are now available for download at: resources.australiaone.info/vision

Resources have also been developed specifically for use in social program centres, divisions and THQ. These will be distributed to heads of department and social program leaders this week.

National Day of Vision Commitment and Covenant Renewal

The campaign will culminate on March 18 and 19 with a National Day of Covenant Renewal and Vision Commitment in Corps, and vision commitment morning tea celebrations at our social program centres, divisions and territorial headquarters. Vision Commitment cards will be sent to all corps and centres prior to this event.

War Cry: Special Australia Territory edition

A special Australia Territory edition of Warcry Magazine is available now.

This edition is designed to answer questions about why we are uniting behind a single, national vision, and how it will allow us to make a greater impact in Australian society. It’s also a great way to tell the general public some of the good news stories of lives transformed, both past and present.

It gives an overview of our vision for what the Army is, and can be, and unpacks our vision statement in a way that is accessible to anyone, regardless of their level of familiarity with the Army.

This issue has been available as usual through corps and programs over the Australia Day weekend, with extra copies being sent out. Additional copies are available from Public Relations teams on request.

Strategy and Roadmap Staff Gathering

On February 28th and March 1st staff and officers will have an opportunity to gather and learn more about our national strategy and updates to the department design roadmap. A 45 minute presentation from the National Commander and National Chief Secretary will be followed by a 30 minute Q & A.
